EMUCU: Your Michigan Financial Partner
We've been a division of University of Michigan Credit Union (UMCU) since 2014, but our story begins much earlier. Originally, we were called Eastern Michigan Financial and we opened our doors in 1958 - just four years after UMCU was founded. Since our merger with UMCU, we re-branded ourselves as "Eastern Michigan University Credit Union" and have been part of UMCU's ecosystem ever since.
